Assembler & Fitter – CNC Programming Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our production team. You will develop and optimise CNC programs for both new and rework parts, ensuring high quality and efficient cycle times.

Key responsibilities

• Develop 3‑axis to 5‑axis CNC programs using CAM software.
• Optimise tool paths, feeds, speeds and tooling for cycle time and surface finish.
• Interpret engineering prints, 3D models and customer drawings.
• Collaborate with machinists during first‑piece setup and program proofing.
• Maintain program libraries, post‑processors and tooling documentation.
• Support continuous improvement of CNC programming standards.

Required profile

• 3+ years of CNC programming experience in a job‑shop or production environment.
• Proficiency with Mastercam, Esprit or comparable CAM software.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple jobs simultaneously.
