Regional Human Resources Advisor

About the role

The Regional Human Resources Advisor acts as the first point of contact for onshore HR Coordinators, supporting day‑to‑day HR matters and serving as a bridge between HR and Operations Management. The role provides guidance on payroll, recruitment, performance management and general HR issues while supporting the HR Manager and Rig Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily tasks of HR Coordinators, ensuring deadlines are met and providing mentorship.
• Lead disciplinary and grievance processes in line with Country Employment Law.
• Assist HR Manager with offshore and onshore recruitment, prepare employment contracts, and conduct new‑employee inductions.
• Coordinate monthly headcount reporting and payroll data preparation.
• Manage sick‑leave cases for offshore personnel and liaise with regional Occupational Health providers.
• Attend weekly rig meetings to resolve HR queries and develop offshore personnel transfer plans.
• Cover HR Coordinators during annual leave and support project or general HR tasks as directed.
• Maintain accurate personnel files in both paper and HRIS systems.
• Provide benefit administration, support promotions, demotions, transfers, and emergency response activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Valid offshore survival certification.
• Experience in general HR advisory roles and logistics/crew management.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
