Gender Equality & Social Inclusion Specialist (Non-Key Expert)

About the role

NTU International is seeking a highly qualified Non‑Key Expert to support the systematic integration of gender equality and social inclusion considerations across the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme. The role ensures inclusive participation, gender‑responsive implementation and equitable access to opportunities generated through Africa‑EU space cooperation.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate gender equality and social inclusion considerations across all programme activities of the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme.
• Ensure inclusive participation, gender‑responsive implementation and equitable access to opportunities generated by the cooperation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in gender studies, social sciences, development studies or a related field.
• At least eight years of professional experience in gender equality, social inclusion or inclusive development in international cooperation.
• Minimum four years of experience designing and applying gender‑responsive approaches in donor‑funded programmes.

Required skills

• Excellent command of English.
• Working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese (asset).
• Familiarity with EU external‑action gender policy and experience in Africa (asset).
