Learning and Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for a strategic, people‑focused Learning and Development Manager to lead our global, fully remote workforce. In this role you will design, deliver and evaluate training programs that close skill gaps, foster continuous learning, and support career progression across all locations.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with C‑level leaders and department heads to identify skill gaps and align L&D initiatives with business goals.
• Design engaging e‑learning modules, virtual workshops, and micro‑learning content for a distributed audience.
• Own and continuously improve the remote onboarding experience for new hires worldwide.
• Manage the Learning Management System, ensuring courses are accessible, intuitive, and properly tracked.
• Forecast, monitor, and optimise the annual L&D budget; negotiate contracts with external training vendors.
• Analyse training metrics, conduct skills audits, and report ROI on learning initiatives.
• Collaborate with HR and managers to create leadership development and career‑pathing frameworks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Education or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Learning & Development, including at least 2 years in a remote or distributed environment.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and evaluate teams virtually.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning theories, blended learning strategies and instructional design.
• Excellent written, verbal and virtual presentation skills.
