Chargé de la Formation et du Développement

About the role

The Training and Development Officer will support Dangote Cement Congo’s HR department by implementing the annual learning plan and managing talent development initiatives. Reporting to the Talent Management Lead, the role ensures that training programmes align with business needs and that talent processes drive employee growth.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the execution of the yearly training plan, including scheduling, budgeting and logistics.
• Collect, synthesize and analyse training needs based on performance gaps, skill requirements and career aspirations.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions and maintain accurate records of participation and outcomes.
• Support core talent management activities such as talent assessments, succession planning and career development programmes.
• Collaborate with line managers to identify competency gaps and recommend appropriate development actions.
• Prepare regular reports and analyses to inform continuous improvement of learning and talent strategies.

Required profile

• Master‑level professional (agent de maîtrise) with experience in HR training or talent development.
• Strong organisational and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with managers and employees.
• Proficiency in French; English is a plus.
