Freelance Engineering Designer (Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, Computer)

About the role

Zomome is seeking detail‑oriented freelance designers to work remotely on a variety of engineering projects. You will contribute to electrical, civil, mechanical, and computer network designs, delivering simulations, documentation, and iterative improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Design and simulate electronic circuits using Proteus and microcontrollers (Arduino, PIC, ATMega).
• Develop electrical and signal‑processing systems with MATLAB/Simulink, including renewable energy setups.
• Model, analyse, and design structural systems with ETABS, AutoCAD, and STAAD Pro.
• Create 2D drawings and 3D models of mechanical components using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and CATIA; run ANSYS analyses.
• Design network topologies and simulate LAN/WAN/cloud networks with Packet Tracer, NS2/NS3, and OPNET.
• Validate all designs through simulation scenarios and iterative refinement.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation for designs, simulations, and processes.
• Stay updated with the latest tools, libraries, and standards in each domain.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or in progress) in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, or Computer/Network Engineering.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Flexible working hours to meet project deadlines.

Required skills
