Process Engineering Specialist

About the role

The Process Engineering Specialist provides high‑level technical consultancy and advice on complex engineering matters, ensuring that standards are interpreted correctly and innovative solutions are developed. This role supports internal departments and external partners while maintaining safety, quality, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Apply approved policies, processes, and procedures and monitor adherence.
• Deliver day‑to‑day operational support in line with established standards.
• Provide in‑house engineering consultation to ESD and other departments, anticipating and solving unprecedented problems.
• Plan and develop engineering projects with unique or complex scopes, exploring innovative concepts.
• Interpret technical standards and codes, acting independently on technical matters.
• Review equipment quotations, purchase requests, and bid summaries; inspect equipment at factories for compliance.
• Mentor and train less‑experienced engineers, offering technical leadership.
• Troubleshoot abnormal problems and recommend remedial actions.
• Prepare accurate section reports and coach job‑family holders to enhance performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical or related engineering discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in complex engineering design, analysis, and project execution.
• Strong understanding of industry standards, codes, and best practices.
• Proven ability to work independently and provide technical guidance.
