Operator Assistant I – Hydraulic Workover (HWO)

About the role

Join Halliburton as an Operator Assistant I on the Hydraulic Workover (HWO) Product Service Line. This entry‑level position provides hands‑on training in safety, equipment inspection and maintenance while supporting service line operations at wellsites.

Key responsibilities

• Learn and apply basic safety and repair procedures for HWO equipment using Halliburton’s iLearn competency system.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑job inspections of HWO equipment.
• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks and maintain support equipment such as pumps, tongs and flowback lines.
• Assist with clean‑up, repair and preparation of equipment for jobs.
• Support rigging up and down of service line equipment at wellsites when required.

Required profile

• Successful completion of Halliburton’s competency tests and task‑list requirements.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Reading comprehension and writing skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (preferred).
• Commercial vehicle driving licence may be required for land operations.
