Senior Geologist – Gold

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Geologist – Gold to join a mining and exploration project in Pointe‑Noire, Republic of Congo. The role involves frequent travel to mining sites and requires a hands‑on, autonomous approach.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in mineral exploration or mining geology.
• Mandatory professional experience in gold projects.
• Professional experience in the Republic of Congo is required; experience in Ghana is an advantage.
• Experience covering exploration‑to‑resource and/or production stages.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of primary gold deposits, including geological setting, mineralisation, and structural geology.
• Expertise in exploration programmes, drilling and geological logging, sampling and QA/QC, and geological modelling.
• Experience with secondary/alluvial gold, placer evaluation and production monitoring.
• Familiarity with JORC and NI 43‑101 reporting standards and geological software.
• Proven ability to manage field teams.
