Communication, Documentation and Learning Assistant

About the role

The Communication, Documentation and Learning Assistant will support YUWA’s mission by managing its communication channels, documenting project activities, and promoting a culture of continuous learning. This position works closely with program officers, the creative team, donors and other external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update YUWA’s social media content calendar and create digital content for all platforms.
• Assist in developing and executing internal and external communication strategies.
• Collaborate with the communication team to design goal‑oriented communication plans.
• Integrate learning outcomes into new programmes and ensure they are disseminated strategically.
• Develop visually appealing social‑media designs that follow YUWA’s branding guidelines.
• Document meeting notes, project learnings and share them with relevant stakeholders.
• Support knowledge‑management activities to preserve institutional memory across projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with donors in line with YUWA’s partnership values.

Required profile

• Strong interest in youth empowerment and non‑profit communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
• Excellent written communication skills.
