Relief Country Manager (French Speaking)

About the role

We are seeking a Relief Country Manager with fluent French to support and cover the Country Manager across multiple African markets. Based initially in Pointe-Noire, the role involves extensive travel throughout the region to oversee both online and retail betting operations and to act as the platform and back‑office expert during technology roll‑outs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of retail outlets, digital platforms and customer service teams.
• Ensure compliance with local gambling regulations and maintain all required licences.
• Identify and develop partnerships with agents, telecom and payment providers.
• Oversee budgets, financial reporting and performance against KPIs.
• Recruit, train and lead local staff to deliver high‑quality service.
• Drive customer acquisition and retention through marketing and community initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with regulators, partners and community stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in the gambling or iGaming sector within Africa.
• Strong understanding of African gaming markets; experience in the Republic of Congo is a plus.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in French; English is an advantage.
• Ability to manage P&L, drive commercial growth and work in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
