Business Development Executive – Industrial Sales

About the role

Petropipe is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive revenue growth across its piping, valves and instrumentation portfolio. The role focuses on identifying new opportunities, managing key accounts and supporting customers in the oil & gas, petrochemical, power, mining and related industrial sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities, generate RFQs and conduct market and competitor analysis.
• Promote and sell piping, valves and instrumentation products, handling customer inquiries, RFQs and techno‑commercial quotations.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and presentations, and coordinate with manufacturers for technical and commercial support.
• Support trading activities, including sourcing, pricing, supplier follow‑up and logistics coordination.
• Maintain strong customer relationships, follow up on offers, negotiate orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor market opportunities in mining, power and food & beverage industries and report monthly activity.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Business, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial sales or trading of mechanical and instrumentation products.
• Proven ability to prepare techno‑commercial quotations and manage RFQs.
• Strong communication, negotiation and customer coordination skills.
• Self‑motivated, organized and capable of working independently.

Required skills

• Knowledge of pipes, valves, flanges, fittings and instrumentation items.
• Experience with Piping, Valves and Instrumentation product lines.
• Proficiency in MS Office and commercial documentation.
