Private Sector Engagement Expert (Non-Key)

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Private Sector Engagement Expert to support the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme (AESPP Boost). The role focuses on strengthening private‑sector participation, business development, innovation and investment across African and European space ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage companies, entrepreneurs and investors in the space, geospatial and technology sectors.
• Conduct market and value‑chain analyses to uncover commercial opportunities.
• Facilitate matchmaking, business support and access to finance for targeted stakeholders.
• Promote knowledge exchange and partnership building between African and EU entities.
• Contribute to policy dialogue and institutional partnership initiatives related to private‑sector engagement.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, business administration, engineering, innovation management or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in private‑sector development, industrial cooperation, innovation, business development or investment facilitation.
• At least 4 years of experience directly engaging companies, entrepreneurs or investors, including market analysis and matchmaking.
• Experience in the space, geospatial or technology sector, preferably with exposure to African markets.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is an asset.
