QHSE Advisor Offshore (Regional)

About the role
The Regional Offshore QHSE Advisor will support Borr Drilling's QHSE department in implementing safety, health, and environmental strategies across the offshore fleet. You will act as a catalyst for safe working practices, ensuring compliance with the Borr Management System and relevant regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Support QHSE initiatives and improvement plans across the regional rig fleet.
- Promote safe work practices, conduct job observations, and verify compliance with work instructions and hazard analyses.
- Lead regular compliance monitoring, internal audits, inspections and hazard hunts.
- Identify improvement opportunities, manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) and track them to closure.
- Participate in investigations, risk assessments, toolbox talks, permit‑to‑work reviews and behavioural‑based safety activities.
- Coach and mentor on‑site Safety Performance Coaches and provide feedback on competency development.
- Support emergency drills, oil‑spill response exercises and provide coaching as required.
Required profile
- NEBOSH or equivalent qualification; Diploma or International General Certificate preferred.
- Training in recognised investigation methodologies (e.g., Taproot, Kelvin Topset, COMET).
- Lead auditor or audit team experience on ISO standards is desirable.
- Valid offshore medical (OGUK), BOSIET and HUET certifications.
- Extensive offshore drilling experience with strong English communication skills.
- Experience leading HSE investigations and solid understanding of major accident hazards and process safety.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements.
