French+English Bilingual Customer Service Representative

About the role

We are looking for a French‑English bilingual professional to join our fully remote team as a Customer Service Representative. You will act as the primary point of contact for French‑speaking customers, delivering assistance via phone and live chat while helping to build trust and loyalty.

Key responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly support in both French and English across voice calls and live chat.
• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and deliver effective solutions.
• Document every interaction accurately to ensure seamless follow‑up.
• Share customer feedback and insights to improve processes and products.
• Collaborate with the remote team, aligning on goals and priorities.

Required profile

• Complete fluency in French and English, written and spoken.
• Minimum 1 year of remote bilingual customer service experience, preferably in e‑commerce, tech support, or a contact‑center environment.
• Patient, detail‑oriented, and genuinely motivated to help customers.
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with a distributed team.
• Quiet professional workspace, personal PC (i5 or higher) and stable internet (≥25 Mbps).

Required skills

• Familiarity with Zendesk.
• Experience using Gorgias.
• Knowledge of Shopify support tools.
