Product Engineer – AI Operating System for Short‑Term Rentals

About the role

Base360.ai is building an AI operating system for short‑term rental operators. We need a Product Engineer who can turn real customer problems into intuitive, reliable software, working closely with founders, designers, and property managers.

Key responsibilities

• Understand customer workflows, identify friction points, and prioritize problems to solve.
• Design, develop, test, and ship end‑to‑end features across frontend, backend, and integrations.
• Create intuitive user experiences in partnership with designers.
• Build event‑driven automation engines that eliminate repetitive tasks.
• Develop AI‑powered features using LLMs and AI agents.
• Implement reliable APIs and integrations with platforms such as Airbnb, Stripe, Twilio, and OpenAI.
• Deliver solutions for real‑time reservation sync, dynamic pricing, smart‑lock access, and automated guest communication.
• Measure product impact with customer feedback and usage data, iterating to improve outcomes.
• Make technical decisions that balance speed, maintainability, security, and scalability as the platform grows.

Required profile

• Strong experience building and shipping production software.
• Ability to work across both frontend and backend systems.
• Experience with React, TypeScript, Python, FastAPI, or similar technologies.
• Deep understanding of APIs, databases, integrations, and cloud architecture.
• Product mindset with curiosity about user needs and usability trade‑offs.
• Confidence collaborating directly with customers, designers, and founders.
• Independent ownership of outcomes and a bias toward rapid iteration.
• Interest in AI, automation, and operational efficiency.
