Computer Vision Annotator (Remote)

About the role

The Computer Vision Annotator will create high‑quality labeled datasets for image and video AI models. Working remotely, you will support object detection, segmentation, pose estimation, and 3D perception projects for autonomous systems and robotics.

Key responsibilities

• Draw precise bounding boxes, polygons, polylines, key points, 3D cuboids and segment masks on visual data.
• Annotate point‑cloud and LiDAR data using specialized 3D tools.
• Interpret complex taxonomies, resolve ambiguous cases, and refine guidelines with data scientists.
• Utilize advanced features of CVAT, Label Studio, 3D Slicer, Supervisely or Amazon SageMaker Ground Truth.
• Provide feedback on tool usability and workflow efficiency.
• Identify edge cases, bias sources and report findings to improve model robustness.
• Assist with basic data preparation such as resizing, format conversion and sensor synchronization.
• Track KPI metrics like throughput, precision and recall.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in computer‑vision data annotation or quality assurance.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent, accurate labeling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to document workflows and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CVAT, Label Studio, 3D Slicer, Supervisely, or Amazon SageMaker Ground Truth.
• Hands‑on experience with bounding‑box, polygon, key‑point, 3D cuboid and segmentation techniques.
• Understanding of computer‑vision concepts such as object detection, image classification, LiDAR and point clouds.
