Head of Sales & Marketing – Congo Brazzaville

About the role

Helios Towers is seeking an experienced Head of Sales & Marketing to lead its commercial function in Congo Brazzaville. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will shape and execute the sales and marketing strategy, drive revenue growth and deepen relationships with key telecom operators.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement local sales, marketing, product and pricing strategies to achieve sustainable revenue growth.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with decision‑makers at mobile network operators and other telecom customers.
• Identify, qualify and convert colocation, lease‑up and Build‑to‑Suit opportunities.
• Lead the preparation of commercial offers, respond to RFPs/RFQs and negotiate contracts with operators.
• Partner with technical teams to conduct network overlap analysis and align with operator rollout plans.
• Take joint responsibility for annual sales and revenue targets and lead the revenue‑planning process.
• Establish and continuously improve sales, marketing, pricing and CRM processes.
• Recruit, lead, develop and motivate a high‑performing Sales & Marketing team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a commercial, business or technical discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of B2B corporate account management/commercial experience, with significant exposure to telecommunications.
• Previous experience within a mobile network operator, tower company or major telecom vendor (e.g., Ericsson, Nokia).
• Proven track record of meeting sales and revenue targets and strong knowledge of the African telecom market.
• Demonstrated ability to lead RFP/RFQ processes, commercial proposals and complex negotiations.
