Technical Solutions Architect

About the role

Robinscroft is seeking a Technical Solutions Architect to lead both internal IT initiatives and client‑facing consultancy. You will partner with the sales team to design, position, and sell complex solutions while also maintaining and improving the company’s own technical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead in pre‑sales engagements, supporting Account Executives to shape and close opportunities.
• Design and architect solutions across cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud (Azure/Microsoft 365), and modern workplace.
• Lead technical discovery sessions with clients, translating requirements into scalable, commercially viable designs.
• Contribute to proposals, technical documentation, and solution design artefacts.
• Deliver billable consultancy services and advise clients on infrastructure, security, and workplace strategy.
• Support project scoping, planning, and hand‑over to delivery teams.
• Own and continuously improve Robinscroft’s internal IT systems, tooling, and technical standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Technical Consultant, or similar role in IT or managed services.
• Strong technical background in infrastructure, cloud (Azure/Microsoft 365), cybersecurity, and modern workplace.
• Ability to lead technical discovery sessions and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Commercial awareness and experience delivering billable consultancy work.
• Highly organised, self‑motivated and comfortable working remotely.
