Freelance Behavioral Health Coach – Remote (Congo)

About the role

Join Intellect’s telehealth platform as a Behavioral Health Coach, delivering 30‑minute video sessions that support clients’ mental wellbeing and personal development. This freelance, remote position offers flexible hours and the chance to supplement existing practice while expanding access to mental health coaching.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one telehealth coaching sessions focused on sub‑clinical issues such as work stress, procrastination, and work‑life balance.
• Assist clients in defining personal, career, or relationship goals and develop actionable plans.
• Collaborate with Intellect’s internal clinical team, offering feedback to improve the coaching program and platform.

Required profile

• Active International Coaching Federation (ICF) certification OR a Master/Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling.
• ICF‑certified coaches must have a minimum of 200 coaching hours; counsellors need at least 300 post‑graduation clinical hours.
• Proficiency in English and the local language of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
• Prior experience in Employee Assistance Programs, adult counselling, or managerial coaching is preferred.
