Founding Software Engineer – AI & Automation Platform

About the role

The Flex is building Base360.ai, an operating system for modern renting that connects property data, automates workflows, and powers AI‑driven decisions. As a Founding Software Engineer you will create core systems that scale globally and directly impact thousands of guests and properties.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and scale the Base360.ai platform, including bookings, pricing, payments, and guest experience services.
• Design and implement event‑driven automation workflows that replace manual tasks.
• Integrate with external partners such as Airbnb, Hostaway, Stripe, Twilio, OpenAI, and Google.
• Build and maintain cloud‑native, serverless infrastructure for reliability and performance.
• Leverage LLMs and AI agents to enhance decision‑making and customer interactions.
• Own projects end‑to‑end, from concept through deployment and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong experience building production‑grade software systems.
• Proficiency with FastAPI, Python, React or comparable frameworks.
• Deep understanding of APIs, distributed systems, and cloud architecture.
• Experience designing scalable backend services.
