Customer Support Representative

About the role

Day Translations is a global translation and interpreting company offering localized translations, interpretation and outsourcing services. It is looking for a Customer Support Representative to handle clients' calls and chat messages every day. The role is full-time (40 hours per week) and remote, worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Answer chats, phone calls and emails from external clients thoroughly and in a timely way
• Explain the costs and procedures of interpreting, translation and localization services, as well as other solutions offered
• Process inbound leads and help Project Managers define the scope of projects
• Inform clients about the current status of their projects
• Forward messages from chat or phone to the appropriate departments
• Report activity in tracking systems and communicate with colleagues on task completion
• Follow company policies and procedures, and carry out documentation and other side tasks

Required profile

• Proven experience in customer support or customer service
• Able to handle incoming client calls throughout the entire shift
• Excellent cross-cultural and interpersonal communication skills, with a strong sense of professionalism and politeness
• Full professional commitment during working hours; job stacking and conflicting employment are not allowed

Required skills

• Advanced verbal and written English (native or C1); additional languages are a plus
• Knowledge of the translation industry is a plus but not required
