Cost Optimisation Product Manager

Job description
About the role
Social Discovery Group (SDG) is a group of social discovery companies that turns virtual intimacy into the new normal, with a portfolio of social entertainment platforms connecting people across cultures and regions. It is looking for a Cost Optimisation Product Manager to turn its partner cost optimisation operations into a self-sustaining product. This is not a coordination role: you own the product from discovery to delivery, and the product you build replaces manual effort, resolves partner issues automatically and makes the business more profitable.
Key responsibilities
- Own the full product lifecycle: discovery, prioritisation, specs, delivery and iteration.
- Map current manual operations (partner analytics, escalations, write-offs, refunds, chargebacks) and eliminate them through product solutions.
- Build a product that surfaces cost-reduction opportunities automatically, replacing manual reporting with real-time signals.
- Design partner-facing flows that resolve issues without human escalation: automated write-off processing, refund/chargeback handling and payout adjustment logic.
- Define and instrument metrics such as cost per partner, manual task volume, resolution time and revshare rate trends.
- Work with engineering and data teams: write clear specs, unblock development and own the roadmap.
- Identify and integrate tooling (CRM automation, reporting pipelines, workflow engines) that reduces manual overhead.
- Deliver a long-term roadmap with clear, measurable financial impact.
Required profile
- Proven product manager experience shipping internal tools, automation platforms or operational products.
- Experience working with partner networks, marketplace operations or vendor management workflows as a product owner.
- Ability to turn messy operational pain into clean product requirements.
- Strong analytical mindset: reads data, forms hypotheses and ships to validate them.
- English C1 and Russian C1 (mandatory); Spanish or Mandarin is a strong advantage.
- Experience in finance, billing or cost optimisation is a strong plus.
Required skills
- Advanced Google Sheets and data tooling, able to prototype logic before engineering builds it.
- Product management and roadmap ownership.
What we offer
- Remote work, full-time.
- Pay level shared with candidates before employment starts.
- 28 calendar days of vacation and 7 wellness days per year.
- Bonuses up to $5,000 for recommending successful applicants.
- 50% payment for professional training, international conferences and meetings.
- Corporate discount for English lessons and health benefits, including compensation of up to $1,000 gross per year for medical insurance or doctor's fees.
- Equipped workplace in offices or co-working locations, or reimbursement of workplace costs up to $1,000 gross once every 3 years.
- Internal gamified gratitude system with bonuses exchangeable for merchandise and team activities.
