Accounting & Finance Referent

About the role

The Accounting & Finance Referent will support Versalis Congo Sarlu’s administrative, financial, accounting and tax activities, ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate financial management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily administrative tasks, maintain company records, contracts and coordinate communications with external advisors, banks and authorities.
• Support accounting functions including accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, financial reporting, transaction reconciliation and documentation.
• Assist in preparing and filing tax returns, ensure compliance with local tax regulations, liaise with tax advisors and monitor legislative changes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• Significant professional experience in accounting, finance or administration with strong understanding of accounting and taxation principles.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail and ability to work independently to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SAP (advantage).
