Production Engineer

About the role

The Production Engineer will be responsible for monitoring and optimizing daily well and facility performance on mature onshore assets in Congo. This hands‑on, field‑focused position plays a key role in improving asset productivity within a lean operating environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor real‑time production data and identify opportunities for optimisation.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and implement corrective actions.
• Support well interventions, workovers, and pump‑related operations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and efficient production.
• Maintain accurate records of well performance and production reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in production engineering on mature onshore or offshore brownfield assets.
• Field‑oriented, pragmatic mindset with ability to work in remote locations.
• Valid certificates, standard fitness, and required vaccinations.
• French fluency and Congolese citizenship.
• Prior experience in West or Central Africa is preferred.

Required skills

• Exposure to Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESP).
• Experience with Progressive Cavity Pumps (PCP).
• Knowledge of Gas Lift (GL) systems.
• Well intervention techniques.
