Online Volunteer Community Manager

About the role

Mate Swell seeks a creative and proactive Online Volunteer Community Manager to strengthen its digital presence, grow its international community, and communicate the impact of its activities worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram) and maintain a consistent content calendar.
• Create engaging posts, captions, and visual content using tools such as Canva, turning reports and photos into compelling stories.
• Engage with community members by responding to comments and messages, welcoming new members, and fostering an inclusive online environment.
• Develop strategies to increase organic reach, identify partners and influencers, and monitor basic social media metrics.
• Prepare brief monthly reports summarizing activities, results, and recommendations.

Required profile

• Strong interest in youth empowerment, volunteering, social impact, or international development.
• Excellent written communication skills in English and ability to work independently in a remote, multicultural environment.
• Good organizational skills and ability to meet agreed deadlines.

Required skills

• Experience managing social media accounts (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram).
• Basic graphic design using Canva or similar tools.
• Familiarity with social media analytics.
