Hydraulic Engineer – Offshore Maintenance (6‑Month Contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Engineer to join our offshore team for a six‑month contract, with the possibility of extension. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, breakdown repair, and mentoring of local staff to ensure safe and efficient plant operation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily preventive maintenance and repair breakdowns on offshore hydraulic systems.
• Mentor and train local technicians, providing written and verbal daily reports.
• Read, mark up, and interpret hydraulic drawings and documentation.
• Compile material, tooling, and equipment lists for assigned work scopes.
• Fault‑find and repair hydraulic equipment to a high standard, including HPU’s and FPSO cargo valve systems.

Required profile

• Fluent French speaker.
• Valid hydraulic certification and certification for small‑bore tubing work.
• Current offshore survival and medical certification with offshore experience.
• Ability to work independently following provided instructions.
• Available to start work in early June.
