HRBP / HRD (Core Business Unit) – Remote

About the role

Social Discovery Group (SDG) is a group of social discovery companies whose products help people connect online across cultures and regions. It is looking for an HRBP / HR Director for its Core Business Unit to work with its remote, globally distributed multinational teams. The role is full-time and remote.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the effectiveness of personnel in the business unit so employees contribute to strategic goals and financial targets.
• Manage staffing, making sure the right number of people complete their probation and meet company expectations.
• Foster employee engagement and retention, motivating staff to stay and take on new responsibilities.
• Implement and enforce HR processes and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Monitor and measure the satisfaction of managers and employees with the HR function.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in a similar HRBP/HRD position in an international digital/IT/product company.
• Able to run basic employee lifecycle processes: hiring, onboarding, training and development, succession planning, termination, performance evaluation.
• Experience managing payroll budget, turnover, efficiency, engagement and loyalty, with C&B and analytics, and measurable examples of impact.
• Strong project management skills, goal-oriented, highly persistent and stress-resistant.
• Fluent Russian and English is a must.
