Education Officer – Digital Learning

About the role

The Education Officer – Digital Learning supports the implementation of UNICEF’s Digital Education Strategy (2025‑2030) in the Country Office. Reporting to the Chief of Education, Protection and Adolescent Development, the officer provides technical and operational assistance for the rollout and scale‑up of digital learning programmes such as Learning Passport and Akelius.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for the deployment of digital learning platforms across the country.
• Coordinate with partners and government agencies to ensure alignment with UNICEF’s digital education objectives.
• Monitor programme performance, collect data, and produce results‑focused reports.
• Assist in the design and adaptation of digital learning content to meet local needs.
• Facilitate capacity‑building activities for staff and stakeholders on digital tools.

Required profile

• Under supervision of the Chief, Education, Protection and Adolescent Development, delivers technical and operational support for digital learning initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience in education programmes that incorporate digital technologies.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and adhere to UNICEF policies and standards.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Learning Passport platform.
• Experience using Akelius digital learning solution.
