Driller/Offsider – Site Investigations

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Driller/Offsider to perform residential and commercial site investigations. The role involves operating drilling rigs, conducting soil testing, and ensuring compliance with safety standards on a variety of projects, including mining sites.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out pre‑start checks on rigs and associated equipment.
• Maintain compliance with OH&S standards and complete required documentation.
• Perform daily routine tasks with minimal supervision, following safe work practices.
• Set up drilling rigs and equipment as required for each job.
• Undertake residential site investigations in line with AS2870 standards.
• Conduct SPT testing and tube sampling on commercial and mining projects when needed.

Required profile

• Valid White Card certification.
• Pass a pre‑employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and knowledge of drilling equipment and techniques.
• Previous experience in residential and commercial site investigations (AS2870).
• Ability to provide copies of relevant certificates and qualifications.
