AI Graphic Designer (Freelance)

About the role

Social Discovery Group (SDG) is a group of social discovery companies whose products turn virtual intimacy into the new normal, connecting people online across cultures and regions. It is looking for an AI Graphic Designer to join its creative team, which uses AI technology to push the boundaries of marketing and design. You will collaborate with designers, motion designers, prompt engineers and marketing professionals, working remotely on a full-time basis.

Key responsibilities

• Design performance creatives and banners for paid acquisition campaigns on Meta, TikTok, Google and other platforms
• Design landing pages and email templates handed off to developers (no coding required)
• Create social media visuals and brand assets aligned with brand guidelines
• Use AI image-generation and workflow tools daily to generate variations, adaptations, backgrounds and style-consistent assets
• Adapt existing concepts across sizes, formats and platforms while keeping visual and brand consistency
• Collaborate with producers, requesters and the lead designer, take feedback and iterate quickly
• Deliver work in SLA mode with predictable turnaround times, using basic performance awareness (CTR, CPA, spend) to inform creative choices

Required profile

• Solid graphic design fundamentals: composition, typography, colour and hierarchy, shown in your portfolio
• Branding and applying brand guidelines across high-volume static design
• Design for digital formats such as performance creatives, landing pages, newsletters and ad creatives
• Ability to adapt concepts across different sizes, formats and platforms
• Proficiency in Russian and English at B2+ level

Required skills

• Figma at a confident level (auto-layout, components, libraries)
• Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator at a confident level
• Practical experience with AI image-generation tools (Midjourney, Flux, ComfyUI, Stable Diffusion, NanoBanana, Imagen or equivalent)
• Prompt engineering and reference-based generation for production
• Familiarity with character/style consistency techniques (LoRA, IP-Adapter, ControlNet) is a plus
• Workflow automation tools (Make, n8n, Figma plugins) and templating are a plus
• Basic After Effects is desirable
